  The FSM-45F has been specially designed to meet the more specialised needs of the factory user.
  The splicer has been designed to require the minimum of skill dependency and still provide a stable splice loss at a speed demanded by production applications.

  The FSM-45F offers a host of innovative features for improved use in factory environments such as sweep arc discharge for dissimilar fibre splicing and a low profile design.

  Other attributes of the splicer are a short cleaved length, high tensile strength performance splicing, a self-diagnostic function for easy maintenance and automatic storage of the last 1500 test results.

  Fujikura also offer a range of specialised accessories for use with the FSM-45F.

  A polarisation maintaining fibre fusion splicer which has succeeded the popular and highly acclaimed Fujikura FSM-20PMII.

  The splicer uniquely operates in four dimensions (X, Y, Z and Theta) and is capable of splicing various PM fibres such as Panda, Tiger and Bow-tie as well as SM and MM fibers. It offers a fully automated splicing sequence with Fujikura PANDA fibres.

  The FSM-45PM angularly rotates and aligns the polarisation maintaining fibres prior to splicing.

  The SpliceMate’s advanced intelligence features include two-camera fibre inspection to ensure the splice is right, and Auto Arc Calibration, a Fujikura first.

  
   It’s easy to operate and quickly makes low loss splices with all common types of telecommunications fibres and 4 fibre ribbons. The SpliceMate is available with a variety of powering options including a battery pack or adapters to work with AC or DC power.

  Work station and carrying strap options are also available for truly simplify splicing in the field, regardless of whether splicing is needed on a pole, in a bucket, or in tight quarters in a neighborhood.
